Butterfly Gap

Butterfly Gap was originally developed as a bed and breakfast wedding venue. Situated on a 1,000 acres of plush wood land at the base of the foothills parkway, this unique location provides serenity and a disconnection from the rat race of the world. A lake was first developed on the site providing a community area for fishing, swimming and boating.

This retreat has been featured in such publication as Southern Living, City View, I do, Basically Blount, All Things Cottage, and 1000 places to visit before you die.  In 2014 the retreat was voted one of the top 10 modern Bed and Breakfast in the world.

Each unique cottage is nestled on five acre tracts of land providing privacy and communion with nature. The cottages include special features from a bed in a drawer on a screened porch, rotating walls in the studio, a tree house, to an all glass handicap accessible cottage.
